School Operations Supervisor

The Montessori School of Waukesha is seeking a highly organized, proactive School Operations Manager to help keep our school running smoothly. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in turning ideas into action.
No two days are alike. One day you may be arranging substitute coverage, the next coordinating volunteers, welcoming families, overseeing attendance, or ensuring a facility project is completed.
No Montessori experience is required. We'll teach you our philosophy.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the daily operational needs of the school.
- Recruit, schedule, onboard, and support substitute teachers and staff.
- Supervise two School Support Specialists.
- Serve as the operational liaison between volunteer committees, Board committees, and school leadership to ensure events and fundraisers are successfully executed. Translate committee plans into actionable timelines, coordinate school resources, and ensure operational responsibilities are completed from planning through follow-through.
- Coordinate volunteers, vendors, and facility improvement projects.
- Oversee student attendance reporting and administer student medications.
- Welcome families and visitors while supporting the daily operations of the school.
- Develop systems, solve problems, and ensure projects are completed with excellence.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience in operations, project management, office administration, nonprofit, school, or event coordination.
- Experience supervising employees, volunteers, or teams preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, service-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.
What We Offer:
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $35,000- 45,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
